01Who we are

Brett Fisher Group, doing business as Fisher Search Group (“FSG,” “we,” “us”), is a MedTech commercial talent intelligence firm based at 555 Marin Street, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360. This policy covers fishersearchgroup.us, the forms on it, and the emails, calls and text messages we exchange with you about our services. SummitYourCareer.com and TheDecisionRooms.com are affiliated sites of Brett Fisher Group, and this policy also applies to information we collect through them unless a site posts its own policy. Some services link to programs run by outside partners, which have their own policies.

02Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: name, email, phone number and location.
  • Career information: your résumé and anything in it, your LinkedIn profile URL, current title and company, and what you tell us about your goals, timing and the roles you'd consider.
  • Your interests and referral source: which of our services you're interested in, and how you heard about us, including the name of anyone who referred you.
  • Hiring information: if you're an employer, details about your company, team and open roles.
  • Communications: messages, call notes and anything else you share with us while we work together.

If you give us information about someone else, such as the person who referred you, please share only what they'd be comfortable with us knowing.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. We use it to run and secure the site. We do not currently use advertising cookies or sell access to visitor data. If we add website analytics, we'll update this policy to say so.

Information from other sources

As recruiters, we may also learn about professionals from public sources such as LinkedIn, industry events, published articles, and referrals from people in our network.

03How we use your information

Every submission is reviewed, but we can't respond to all of them. If your background is a potential fit for what we're looking for, we may reach out to schedule a conversation or email you some qualifying questions.

  • To review your background and match you with opportunities, services or programs that fit your goals.
  • To contact you about your submission, opportunities and our services by email, phone or, if you opt in, text message.
  • To deliver search services to the companies we work with, including our candidate evaluations.
  • To consider you as a guest for the FSG Leadership Podcast or as a member of The Decision Rooms, if you've asked.
  • To understand how people find us and improve our services.
  • To keep our site and records secure, and to meet our legal obligations.

04How we keep your search confidential

We never share your résumé or identity with a hiring company without your permission. Before we present you for a role, we tell you about the opportunity and ask whether you'd like to be considered. We don't post your résumé publicly or to job boards.

05When we share information

  • With hiring companies, with your permission: when you agree to be presented for a specific role.
  • With service providers: companies that help us run our business, such as our website host and form processor (Netlify), our email provider (Google Workspace), and our scheduling, recruiting and communication tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Within Brett Fisher Group: among Fisher Search Group, SummitYourCareer.com and The Decision Rooms, which are affiliated brands of Brett Fisher Group, for the purposes in this policy.
  • With partners you choose: for example, if you ask to join the Launch program run with Evolve Your Success, we'll share what's needed to enroll you.
  • For legal reasons: when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

06Text messages

If you opt in, we may text you about current and future opportunities in medical device and MedTech sales, marketing and clinical roles, and about your applications. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also reach us at 310-571-8117. We do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Opting in is never a condition of working with us.

07Third-party content and links

Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts and video thumbnails from YouTube, and links to services such as Calendly, YouTube, LinkedIn and Evolve Your Success. When you use these services, they may collect information under their own privacy policies. We aren't responsible for how they handle your information.

08How long we keep information

Careers unfold over years, so we keep candidate information for as long as it's useful for matching you with opportunities, or until you ask us to delete it. We keep business records as long as needed for the purposes in this policy and to meet legal, accounting and contractual obligations.

09Security

Our site is served over an encrypted connection, form submissions are encrypted in transit, and access to candidate information is limited to our team and service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • correct or update it;
  • delete it, or stop contacting you;
  • stop text messages (reply STOP) or marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link or tell us).

Depending on where you live, laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act may give you additional rights. We'll honor requests as those laws require, and we won't treat you differently for making one. To make a request, email hello@brettfishergroup.com. We may need to confirm your identity first.

11Where we store information

We are based in the United States and work with candidates and companies in the U.S. and Canada. Our service providers may store information in the United States or other countries. By sharing information with us, you understand that it may be stored and processed outside your province or country.

12Children

Our services are for working professionals and are not directed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change. We'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know.
